Mämminiemi, located in Haukanmaa and bordering Lake Päijänne, is actually part of the Municipality of Toivakka. Mämminiemi can be reached conveniently by water from Jyväskylä, Muurame and other surrounding areas. Mämminiemi can also be accessed by road. On the shores of the lakes lying within the area of the municipality there are a number of interesting businesses providing wellness services and organised excursions such as Nukula, Pistoretki and Taulu Manor.
