Struve Geodetic Arc: Oravivuori Arc Point

Oravivuori arc point is a part of Struve Geodetic Arc. The Struve Geodetic Arc was accepted into the Unesco World Heritage List in 2005. It represents the cultural heritage of science and technology.

Atmospheric and memorable, Kivitasku is a lakeside farm of a different kind in Muurame in the Jyväskylä Region. Sheep and chickens greet the visitors in the courtyard. Kivitasku is also an excursion and shopping destination for various groups. In Kivitasku, the Villa Kivitasku, a unique blue log house, serves as the main venue for festive occasions with its outdoor terraces. The facilities have a seating capacity of about 60. At the Villan Käsityöpuoti crafts shop you can buy ecological and personalized gifts made of wood and wool. The grounds also include the big Haiku sauna and a woodworker’s workshop.
