Suopirtti is a traditional cottage surrounded by fields and forests. The charming yard is resided by Highland Cattle. Relaxation in the countryside comes easy, as you can sit in the garden entertained by the skillful swallows or by an exciting book. If you fancy something more eventful, there is a possibility to build your own hamburger from the fresh ground beef produced by the farm. Sounds tasty, right?
If spending your night in the traditionally furnished rooms seems too ordinary, you can try sleeping in a tree tent by Tentsile. There is no feeling like lying above the ground, only you and the thousands of stars. All of this is easily reached as the Suopirtti farm is only one kilometer from the main road number 69. (The small village is called Istunmäki) The popular South-Konnevesi National Park is just around the corner. In the park you can travel by foot, or maybe you’ll go for a canoe?
