Tähtelä is located near the cozy Korpilahti harbor, in the stunning lakeside scenery of Lake Päijänne, at Alkio College. The versatile facilities, accommodating 20 to 200 people, provide excellent settings for meetings, courses, camps, and celebrations. Free parking is available.

At Tähtelä, you can stay in a peaceful environment in single or double rooms, or in apartments for 2 to 5 people. The rooms have private bathrooms/WCs. Bed linen and towels are included in the accommodation price. During the summer, there are 150 accommodation places available. Accommodation reservations can also be made through Booking.com. The lakeside sauna features two separate saunas with washing and changing rooms, a communal fireplace room, a small kitchen with basic supplies, and two guest rooms. The lakeside sauna has its own shallow-water swimming beach. The fireplace room is also suitable for various meetings, equipped with free WiFi and a large flat-screen TV with versatile connectors.

Restaurant Santeri’s excellent service and tasty offerings ensure successful events and celebrations. We prefer Finnish and locally produced food. The restaurant is open during the study period of Alkio College, from autumn to spring, and by appointment at other times.

Near Tähtelä, there are wonderful destinations for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Right from the courtyard, you can step onto the Haukankierros (14 km) hiking trail. The UNESCO World Heritage site, Struve Geodetic Arc measurement point on Oravivuori, and the four-kilometer nature trail in Vaarunvuoret are both located approximately 20 kilometers away from Tähtelä.
