The Outdoor Swimming Pool & Sports Park is a popular local place for exercise located in the centre of Jämsä. It offers wonderful opportunities for sports and recreation.
On warm summer days you can refresh yourself by going for a swim and enjoying a picnic lunch on the sunny terrace, or by spending the day on the playground. While jogging, you can stop and test the equipment in the outdoor gym belonging to the pool.
The Sports Park also hosts Finland’s largest outdoor Bukk Off Ice practice track for hockey, rinkball, and floorball training. In addition, you’ll find a bumpy, winding pump track where you can test your abilities on a bicycle or scooter. You can also hone your skills in the skate park.
You can also play basketball, beach volleyball, bocce, petanque and other small-scale games in the sports park. In the fenced multi-purpose arena, you can engage in team matches such as football or floorball.
