Puuhapuisto Veijari is a nature-friendly and warm-hearted summer destination for the whole family in Saarijärvi. The park’s numerous activities encourage movement, while the surrounding nature offers a chance to relax. At Veijari, you can jump on bouncy castles and bungee trampolines, balance on the adventure course, ride pedal cars, paddle, SUP board, cycle, and play mini-golf and football billiards.

At Veijari, you can meet various domestic animals, fish, and birds, as well as more exotic animals. Pony rides are a highlight for many children. During animal presentation sessions, you have the opportunity to pet the animals and learn more about them.

The park area offers delicious restaurant and café services. You can also bring your own snacks and use the hut and campfire sites. On a hot summer day, a dip in the swimming pond refreshes you during your adventures.

The Saarijärvi summer bus service runs from June 15 to August 7, 2026, Wednesdays through Fridays, from the downtown bus stop to Puuhapuisto Veijari and back. You can conveniently purchase tickets in advance through the Matkahuolto service. Buy tickets at: https://www.matkahuolto.fi/.
