Explore the Capital of Alvar Aalto

Did you know that Jyväskylä and its surrounding areas have more works by world-renowned architect Alvar Aalto than anywhere else in the world? The 30 Aalto sites include the Säynätsalo Town Hall, which The New York Times has chosen as one of the most significant works of post-war architecture. The new gem of Aalto’s capital is the Aalto2 Museum Centre, which combines the Alvar Aalto Museum and the Museum of Central Finland under one roof.
