Motorhome Parks

A motorhome park is a great choice when there is no need for longer-term campsite accommodation. Many motorhome parks offer services in connection with parking, such as septic tank emptying points and electrical hookup spots. Jyväskylä

Jyväskylä’s Lutakko Harbor:

Located near the city center and the Travel Centre, Lutakko Harbor has 6 motorhome spots, which are 3.20 m wide and 8 m long. Parking for motorhome spots at the harbor is paid via mobile payment (EasyPark, eParking, Moovy, and ParkMan). Overnight stays are allowed, but camping is strictly prohibited. There is no electricity at the spots.

Street Parking:

Street parking can be used with a motorhome. For example, the ticket machine spots on Hannikaisenkatu have a bit more space for parking a motorhome or trailer. In the city center area, the maximum time for street parking is 1 day. If it’s a combination of a car and a trailer that are connected, one parking ticket is sufficient. If the car and trailer are separate, both must have their own ticket.

Parking Hall:

On Hannikaisenkatu, the P-Matkakeskus (see on Google Maps) has 17 spots for large vehicles on the ground level, with a height of 360 cm.

Other Travel Parks in Jyväskylä:

The parking area on Jyväskylä’s Gradia Harju campus (Sepänkatu 3, see on Google Maps) has space for 3-4 motorhomes at a 6-hour disc parking spot. The parking area is a short walk from the services of Jyväskylä city center. Parking is allowed between May 1st and September 30th. The spots are not available during the World Rally Championship, the parking area is closed from July 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM to August 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
