Haikusauna is located on the shore of Lake Kalajärvi in Muurame, 4 kilometers from the center of Muurame and 17 kilometers from Jyväskylä. The Muurame Golf Course is only one kilometer away.

Haikusauna can accommodate 25 people. The sauna is actually a combination of a smoke sauna and a regular sauna. The smoke hood placed on top of the sauna stove directs most of the smoke outdoors. However, during heating, smoke dominates the sauna space, bringing the scent of a smoke sauna into the space. In addition to the sauna, there is the opportunity to swim in Lake Kalajärvi. You can enjoy Haikusauna during public sauna sessions or book it for a private event.

Kivitasku also offers other worthwhile experiences: the blue log house Villa Kivitasku serves as a party venue with its outdoor terraces. At the Villa’s Craft Shop, you can buy ecological and personalized gifts made of wood and wool. The summer exhibition features artisan Mella Nousiainen’s art textiles inspired by the Kalevala. Sheep and chickens greet visitors in the courtyard. Kivitasku also offers cozy, year-round accommodation in a barn. By the shore of Lake Kalajärvi, near Haikusauna, you can also rent a unique experience in the form of a cart sauna.
