Welcome to the unique atmosphere of the Könkkölä farm on the shore of Lake Köhniö, just five kilometres from the centre of Jyväskylä. There is room in the main building for family celebrations, meetings and events. The lakeside saunas are a great place to relax and unwind all year round.
Behind the rustic walls of the log sauna are modern, renovated washrooms with two showers, a water bath and underfloor heating. A wood-burning stove provides excellent steam in the spacious steam room. There is also a dressing room, toilet and terrace with lake views. The log sauna is situated on the edge of a protected forest area, and there is a jetty in front of the sauna where you can take a dip in Lake Köhniön. In summer the sauna is surrounded by greenery, and in winter the snow-covered trees around the sauna create a sheltered and peaceful atmosphere.
In addition to the sauna facilities, the lakeside sauna has a cosy fireplace room where you can spend an evening with friends until the early hours. The terrace and the large window in the fireplace room offer an idyllic view of the lake, and in the summer you can easily go swimming on the terrace. You can also enjoy an open fire in the warmth of the fireplace room, or in the barbecue hut and grill house, which are located close to the lakeside sauna. The surrounding lawn can be used for sunbathing and games in the summer.
