Jyväskylä

The Green Star Hotel, located beside the bus and train station, offers accessible accommodation. When arriving at the hotel, you can get a key card for the accessible entrance from the reception. If the visitor arrives alone, you can call the reception, in which case the staff will come and open the door to the said entrance. The main entrance to the hotel is not accessible, as there are steep stairs at the entrance. The hotel has two accessible rooms on the 1st floor, and they are close to the accessible entrance. Hotel Verso, right in the centre of Jyväskylä, has two accessible Standard rooms and one disability parking space. The restaurant at Hotel Verso is also accessible. For those arriving by car, the hotel has its own parking garage, from which the hotel can be easily accessed by lift. The Scandic Jyväskylä Station, located in the heart of the city centre, offers an accessible room for three people and an excellent location to explore Jyväskylä! The Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki in Jyväskylä has accessible public spaces and four accessible rooms for people with mobility impairments. Arriving in Jyväskylä via public transport, Paviljonki is very easily accessible from the bus and train station through an overpass tunnel leading to the Lutakko neighbourhood.

The Finlandia Hotel Alba, located along the gorgeous shoreline landscapes of Lake Jyväsjärvi, has two partially accessible rooms. The bathroom doors have no thresholds, the toilet seats have assist rails and there is a shower seat in the shower. The main entrance of the hotel has a small ramp and sliding doors, and the accommodation floors can be accessed by lift. The hotel restaurant is also accessible.

Jämsä

The atmospheric Rural Hotel Morva, located in Juokslahti in the Jämsä countryside, offers two accessible two-person rooms. The hotel’s sauna spaces are also accessible. The dressing room and shower space are spacious, and the sauna can accommodate a shower wheelchair. You can borrow a shower wheelchair from the hotel. Hotel Jämsä, located near Jämsä and the Himos services, is a unique self-service hotel. The hotel has one accessible room with low thresholds. The bathroom features handrails.

Laukaa

Spa Hotel Peurunka, in the middle of the most beautiful landscapes of the region by the shores of Lake Peurunka, offers comprehensive services to travellers in need of accessibility! The Peuransarvi rooms, about 100 metres from the hotel’s main entrance, are accessible. There are also a few accessible rooms in the main hotel building. You can enjoy the hotel’s spa accessibly, as you access the spa’s current pool by lift, and you can also find a therapy pool for rehabilitators. An assistant can enter the spa free of charge. The Peurunka auditorium is also accessible.
