Eight organists from Jyväskylä will each perform a 15–20-minute program inspired by the theme of light. You are welcome to stay for the entire evening or simply drop in for a short visit. Admission is free.
The programme features works by Bach, 20th-century compositions, orchestral and film music arranged for organ, as well as beloved Finnish melodies. The evening will also include improvisation: the audience will be invited to suggest a theme, which the organist will instantly transform into an original organ composition.
