Para-site is an immersive, site-specific performance that invites audiences to wander through the landscapes of the Tourujoki area. Built around the Rainbow River light installation, this multisensory experience brings together dance and circus arts, music, and light art in a surprising and evocative encounter. Along the way, audiences will meet curious characters, playful situations, and quiet moments that invite them to pause and immerse themselves in the darkness of an autumn evening.
Will this coexistence of artworks evolve into a symbiosis, or will the performance become a parasite feeding on the light installation?
The performance marks the first collaboration between the Haukanmaan Kesäteatteri art collective and the band VANNI.
