Rantaviidakko Playground is located in Rantapuisto, in the center of Äänekoski. The themed playground, completed in June 2024, was designed according to children’s wishes. Children were able to choose the park’s name, play equipment, and themes, which are jungle and underwater world. The park features, among other things, a zip line, trampolines, and a nest swing. The playground is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and is under camera surveillance. The park is intended for children and is a good example of involving children in urban planning.
