An easy place to begin exploring Aalto’s legacy is the Aalto2 Museum Centre, home to two museums under one roof: the Alvar Aalto Museum and the Museum of Central Finland. In early October 2026, a new visitor centre will open at Aalto2, featuring an exhibition that introduces Jyväskylä’s Aalto Works sites as well as the other World Heritage sites of the Jyväskylä Region.
