Old Keuruu
Various coaches under the Matkahuolto umbrella run from the Jyväskylä Travel Centre to Keuruu several times a day. There is about 1 km from the Keuruu bus station to the Old Keuruu neighbourhood. Train to travel destinations
Petäjävesi Old Church – UNESCO World Heritage Site
A VR railcar service runs to Petäjävesi, usually three times a day. The old church is less than a kilometre’s walking distance from the Petäjävesi railway station.

Old Keuruu
In Old Keuruu, you can find e.g. the Old Church of Keuruu (dating from the 18th century), the Keuruu Museum, the Keuruu Local History Museum, and the old Keuruu railway station. Keuruu also offers cruises on Lake Keurusselkä aboard the paddle wheeler Elias Lönnrot.

Jämsä
VR’s Intercity and Pendolino trains can easily take you to the centre of Jämsä, where you can enjoy the day visiting, for example, the historic Witikkala Manor and the traditional Vehkala Jeans Dealer, or enjoying the joy of exercise at Jämsä’s Maauimala activity park.
Several trains run between Jyväskylä and Jämsä during the day.
